We have changed our name from “HEARING PROFESSIONALS ASSOCIATION (SINGAPORE)” to “SOCIETY OF HEARING PROFESSIONALS (SINGAPORE)” to reorganise our membership structure to support our constitution objectives better. This has been approved by the Registrar of Societies on 16 Feb 2023. Our constitution membership structure now recognised professional individuals as ordinary members instead of the companies. Each ordinary member has one voting right. With this change, instead of having 8 ordinary company membership, we now have 38 individuals registered as members at the point of this reporting. We also have 9 Patron members (companies). We believe this positive change will see the society grow stronger to contribute our efforts toward achieving our objectives.
